This can sometimes be a less expensive alternative to the popular Saturday afternoon timeslot and availability of your favourite wedding providers is often assured.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals provide a perfect opportunity to have a final get together with your celebrant, usually during the week prior to the ceremony. It is an opportunity to finalise paperwork and arrange placement of yourselves and your bridal party, practice repeating your vows and generally a chance to calm any of those last minute nerves. The rehearsal does not need all bridal party to be present, and does not have to be at the location.
Prospective Fiance Visa
Please feel free to contact me should you be applying for a prospective fiance visa. I am able to assist in the process required by the Australian or an international Immigration Department by providing the necessary letters and paperwork.
Overseas and Intersate Clients
It is not always convenient to meet with your celebrant in person, but the
planning of your ceremony with your celebrant can just as easily be done by phone, fax and e-mail. Once you arrive, and if time allows prior to your ceremony, we can organise a face to face meeting to finalise arrangements, have a chance to meet one another and sight relevant documentation.
How Much Does it Cost?
Choosing your celebrant is a major decision in the planning of your special day. Celebrants fees will vary, as do the services provided. It is most important to choose a celebrant that you feel comfortable with. If possible, arrange a time to meet with your celebrant beforehand to ensure your decision is the right one, as the celebrant plays a vital role on the day! A non-refundable deposit is required to lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage document and to ensure your booking.
Music, Poetry & Readings
If requiring music for your ceremony, it is suggested that you choose at least 3 pieces.
1. Bride/Bridal party arrival
2. Signing of the Marriage Register and Certificates
3. Conclusion of ceremony
If you wish to include readings or poetry in your ceremony, I have a comprehensive Resource Book available to all clients containing over 100 verses. These can be read by the celebrant, alternatively it is a lovely gesture to invite a guest to do this for you. Authors, where known, do need to be acknowledged for poetry for copyright purposes. I can supply a battery operated CD player for your music, accompanied by my state of the art P.A. system for any readers to ensure that they are audible to all guests.

“This tiny bundle will fill your hearts
With magical moments, laughter and joy”

(My nephew and nieces, triplets Georgia, Chloe and Benjamin!)
A Naming Ceremony provides an opportunity to officially welcome, and share with family and friends, the arrival of your newest family member.
These ceremonies provide an alternative to christenings, in a non-religious form, leaving the child free to make a decision about baptism later in life.
Naming Ceremonies allow the parents the opportunity to appoint Godparents, (sometimes called Guardians or Mentors) to the child, recognise the roles of Grandparents, siblings and all those who are important in the life of the child. The child is presented with a commemorative Naming Certificate and Certificates for godparents are issued to celebrate their role.
Family members are encouraged to participate in these ceremonies, some examples may be the reading of poetry, lighting of candles or planting a tree. You may also wish to incorporate a time capsule that can involve a contribution from all guests.

Commitment Ceremonies are ideal for those who want to publicly declare their love and commitment to one another in a ceremony.
These people may include couples, who for their own reasons, do not want a legal and binding marriage arrangement, same sex couples announcing confirmation of their commitment to each other, or couples unable, or not wanting to legally marry.
Although these ceremonies are not legally recognised by Australian law, they can follow a similar procedure as a marriage ceremony.
Couples are presented with a beautiful Certificate and copy of their ceremony.

Many couples choose to renew their wedding vows on a significant milestone in their marriage i.e: wedding anniversaries are always popular. These vows can be the original vows in which they first became Husband and Wife, or new vows chosen to signify their continuing commitment to one another.
Couples are presented with a Certificate and personal copy of their ceremony. |
